Keegan Lee is a sophomore honors student and the James R. Copland & Lillian G. Copland Scholar at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is studying Psychology (B.S.) and English (B.A.) with a concentration in medicine, science, and literature. Keegan’s multifaceted background and exceptional accomplishments have positioned her as a rising star in public speaking, tech ethics, and mental health advocacy.

As an author, Keegan co-wrote “60 Days of Disconnect” with Dr. Bilal Ghandour, Ph.D., an award-winning mental health activist, a groundbreaking work exploring the impact of digital disconnection on mental well-being. Her ability to eloquently articulate complex ideas has earned her recognition for her powerful and thought-provoking public addresses.

Championing Mental Wellness and Digital Responsibility for Youth

Keegan’s passion for championing mental health led her to create a global mental health campaign and a digital wellness program for parents and educators. A member of the youth boards at Mental Health America and The American Academy of Pediatrics, she uses her influential voice to advocate for innovative solutions and promote the importance of psychological well-being, focusing on young people.

As a public speaker, Keegan is highly sought after for her dynamic and engaging presentations. She has been invited to speak at various conferences, schools, and organizations, where she captivates audiences with her deep understanding of the ethical implications of emerging technologies.
