Keegan Lee: Author, Speaker, Storyteller
Keegan Lee is the Award-winning Author of 60 Days of Disconnect: A Personal Perspective of How Social Media Affects Mental Health with Professor of Psychology Dr. Bilal Ghandour, Ph.D.
Her work lies at the dynamic intersection of technology and psychology with a focus on how digital environments shape children and adolescent’s behavior and online interactions.
Named one of People Magazine’s “Girls Changing the World” in 2024, Keegan is widely recognized for her contributions to the field children’s online safety and wellbeing.
She has spoken internationally at events such as Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, The Federal Palace in Bern, Switzerland, Leysin, Switzerland, University of Oxford in Oxford, England and at The United Nations Youth Economic Forum.
She is pursuing a dual degree in Psychology and English and Comparative Literature at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.


Keegan will be joining Roblox in San Mateo, California as a Project Manager intern on the Civility team for Summer 2026.

Digital Responsibility for Children and Adolescents
Keegan’s passion for championing mental health led her to create a global mental health campaign and a digital wellness program for parents and educators. As a previous member of the youth boards at Mental Health America and The American Academy of Pediatrics, she uses her influential voice to advocate for innovative solutions and promote the importance of leveraging the positives of technology whilst mitigating its risks.
As a public speaker, Keegan is highly sought after for her dynamic and engaging presentations. She has been invited to speak at various conferences, schools, and organizations, where she captivates audiences with her deep understanding of the ethical implications of emerging technologies. Keegan’s expertise in tech ethics has earned her recognition from industry leaders, including Netflix’s “The Social Dilemma” and Tik-Tok’s Department of Data Security and Safety by Design, who have provided her with grant funding and mentorship to travel the world and educate the youth about building a more humane digital world.

Keegan’s commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond her public speaking engagements. She is an instructor and creator of a digital wellness program for parents and educators.
